Cette année, nous avons également soutenu des familles vulnérables en distribuant des paniers de nourriture dont elles avaient grand besoin. La soupe populaire de la communauté touche 50 familles dans le besoin tous les mardis. Le pays tente toujours de se remettre du démantèlement des organisations sociales au cours des dernières années. Nous sommes encore loin d'avoir franchi le seuil de pauvreté.
Nous sommes confrontés à des problèmes liés à la réalité dans laquelle vivent ces enfants. De vieilles maladies réapparaissent : oreillons, varicelle, dengue (moustique Aedes Aegypti), vers et, actuellement, un grand nombre d'enfants autistes sans réponse claire.
Selon la loi municipale, nous devons inscrire les enfants souffrant de maladies mentales et comportementales, et c'est à l'institution de fournir des soins cliniques à ces enfants (ce qui nous est impossible car les salaires des professionnels de la santé mentale sont très élevés).
